    Hello Anwar,

Thanks for approaching Learnhub for your queries regarding GRE and admissions further in US Universities.

As you are keen to know about the GRE scores required for admissions, most of the top Universities do not have any minimum GRE score requirement. But yes they do expect students apply with GRE scores 1300 and above on old pattern and 320 in the old pattern.

On the other hand if you target Universities ranked 50+ on US News and World Report, a score of 1200 and above on old pattern and 310 and above in new pattern will help.

But do remember that a good overall academics are also required.

Coming over to the research projects/papers. Such credentials definitely add value to your profile and enhance your admission chances.

You can work out well on the projects you complete at your college considering your research interests. Other than this I have come across many students who have written excellent research papers and have got them published in the IEEE Journal.

Publishing a research paper is not all what you require. But if you work well on the internal projects and your summer internships even that could help.

You can let us know for any further queries in this regard.

We would be happy to assist you moving ahead!
