Need help on GRE (Discussion)

Hi, i am Karan and i finished my eng from Calcutta wih 87% in IT in June 09 and i have done 3 corporate industrial trainings.I am planning to go for GRE.But m clueless where to start. I need suggestions. I am planning to appear for GRE in feb end-march 1st week, for fall 2011. What is the ideal time to appear ? should i stretch it to oct 10 or it doesnt matter if i give in feb ?? Can u still appear and apply for fall 2010 ? And can u suggest one stop solution to all queries on GRE ?

October 2010, is the latest by which you should appear so that you get sufficient time to apply to the universities. However, there is no harm in appearing for the exam earlier in Feb-March as planned by you since the scores are valid for 5 years . Also taking the test early will give you an ample time to apply to the universities. If you wish to apply for Fall 2010, it will be late to take the exam in March 2010.
