6. If 1 < r < s < t < 2, then r+(s106)+(t1012) is related to which of the following ? A. (r+s+t)1012 B. t ^12 C. (s+t)108 & so on…

8. Given a ladder of length 5mts and it is displaced i.e slanted downwards, such that it falls ‘x’ mts in height and horizontal length increases by ‘y’ mts. Col A: x Col B: y Ans: B

Given R1 = (-1, 0, 1), R2 = (1, 1, 2) & R3 = (-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3) and s1, s2 & s3 are the standard deviations of R1, R2 and R3 respectively. i. s1>s2 ii. s2>5 iii. s3>0 A. None B. I & II C. II & III & so on… Ans: Only condition iii satisfies.

2. Given a line ‘M’ in xy-plane and if does not intersect the line x = y, then Col A: Slope of the line ‘M’ Col B: 0 Ans: A

12. Given that lines ‘k’ and ‘m’ intersect at (1, 1). If ‘k’ passes through (0, a) and ‘m’ passes through (0, b) & if the given slope of ‘k’ is less than ‘m’, then Col A: a Col B: b Ans: B

20. If u > 1, v > 1 & w > 1 and if uvw = 595, then find the value of u+v+w?

2. If N = 59 + 710, then Col A: What is the least factor of ‘N’ greater than 1 Col B: 3 Ans: D

for the question 2 ,, the answer shuld be D … cannot be determined untill we know the values of x and y…

when i solve the last equation that came out to be x( x- 2a) = -y (y-2b ) { where a and b are the height and the base of the right traigle formed.

yes for question no 3 the condition iii only satisfies…. you just have to calculate the s.d of all the three..

apply the formula by first calculating the mean and then taking the mean of the squares of all the deviations from mean.. then take the square root.. check the formula from book. you will find that only thirdd condition satisfies

for the forth question…. as the slope is equal to y2-y1/ x2-x1 …. the slope is always more than 0.. because none of them ( x or y ) can be zero.. because the point is not on the line x=y which passes through the centre.. .. may be that is the right reasoniing to the question…

for the 5 th question i think the answer shuld be A … because slope of k is 1-a and slope of m is 1-b… therefore a>b…

i dont know how its B

for the sixth question the answer is 29… you have to just see the factors of 595… the came out to be 5 * 7* 17..

    hence there some is 29..
