To get scholarship, give gre exam marks with as close to 1600. Yes , you can earn within college campus only . As described in F1 student visa.Also check university website homepage.. Prepare your SOP, LOR (3), Resume. TOEFL is necessary if you are an indian citizen. Register GRE online gre.org / ets.org . Any doubts ,please ask. bye

There’s no time gap between GRE and TOEFL . You can give TOEFL or GRE exam first, whichever you feel to give. Just go through the websites gre.org and toefl.org for selecting your test dates. LOR means your college subject lecturers will prepare letters for you . 5-6 months should be utilize for the preparation with online practise .
You can earn while doing MS through assictance. There are two choices: Either a Teaching Assistance(TA) or Research Assistance(RA). It depends on what skills you have. If you’ve earlier conducted any classes or would like to, then you could apply for TA. RA involves assisting a professor in their research etc. I think the college decides whether you’re suitable for a TA or RA, so prepare a good SOP bringing out your abilities regarding these subjects. You can also get a scholarship if you have strong recommendations and some projects or papers if any, that you have published. I have talked to some of my seniors who are pursuing their MS abroad, and they tell me that its better to have 2 recommendation from your college, where you did your B.E. and one from some industry or foreign instituition where you might have done your internship, which was relevant to the field you pursue to do MS.
