ques 1 B ques 2 C we immitate to mock sb… we assuage to placate sb ques 3 E bcz we prune the unwanted hedges … we shave the unwanted mustache ques 4 C photograph captures the light ….. recording captures the sound… ques 5 A we quarry to get the stone … we fell the trees … to get the timber..

plz do post the right answers

1. Volatile: Temper :: Ready : Wit

Bridge: A volatile temper is one that is quickly aroused. Similarly, a person with a ready wit has a quick comeback (if you will) to any statement;

2. Mock : Imitate :: Taunt : Challenge

Bridge: Mock means to imitate sarcastically, in a ridiculing manner. Similarly taunt is to challenge in a mocking or insulting manner.

3. Prune : Hedge :: Trim : Hair

Bridge: To prune is to cut hedge. Similarly to trim is to cut hair.

4. Photograph : Light :: Recording : Sound

Bridge: Light is needed to take a photograph. Similarly, sound is needed to do recording.

5. Quarry : Stone :: Fell : Timber

Bridge: Quarry is to cut stone. So also Fell is to cut timber.
