Q 2 Find the least no from which 12,18,32,40 may be subracted,each an exact nnumber of times? Ans 1440
Q3) In a school 391 boys and 323 girls have been dividen into largest possible class,so that each boys no the same as each class of girls.What is the no of class?
why we find HCF in this case?

in the first question isnt it necessary to know the area of a single square…....??????

for question no 2 ,,, you have to take the LCM of all the no.. that comes to be 1440….... this is the least commo factor through which all are divisible and hence when multiplied by n they can be completely subtracted…..

Convert all figures into cms, we get: L = 1517 ; B = 902 cm
LCM of 1517 and 902 is 33374
Since we have to use the square tiles, square the number 33374 and you get 1113823876
Divide this number by total area of the field i.e 1517 * 902 = 1368334
so, 1113823876/1368334 = 814
