The answer for the first SC would be ‘d’—> Brunt. Brunt means the full force, weight, pressure. The full force of the evidence depends on the plaintiff.

1>the answer is preponderance as it means predominance , and plaintiff had a predominance of the evidence, as except 1, he had all the evidence on his side!!!

1. The clue here is “on the side of plaintiff” that suggests preponderance(meaning exceeding in heaviness; having greater weight;) is the correct answer.

2. Individualism degenerates means to split off into different atoms. The sentence degenerated into atomism sounds correct .
