Nobody likes to make a mistake but still one ends up making one . You can share your gre test day experience, particularly the mistakes you committed that could have been avoided. Prospective gre test takers will find your experience as a great learning tool.

Avoid Mistake #1: Our natural tendency is to proceed quickly in the beginning but this should be avoided during the test as the first few questions carry much higher weightage than the later ones. Make sure to double check EVERY answer for the first ten questions.

Mistake #2 Some students forget about the time while attempting the test.

You will have to pay high penalty for the questions you do not reach. As you approach the end of the section and time is about to expire, move rapidly and make sure that no question is left unanswered as leaving a question unattempted will LOWER your score graph.

Did you face an issue with ambient noise during the GRE? Sometimes, it is just too noisy to be an exam center!

Yes, it is quite disturbing. There is no other alternative except to use ear plug-ins provided at the test center to reduce the distraction.

I took gre general test on 19-Nov. I could do much better in Quanti section but because my pace of doing problems was not good I had to mark last 10 -15 problem randomly without even reading. I scored only 650.
